FAQ

What is the address of the pool?
Our address is 4 Church Road, Postwick, Norwich, NR13 5HN and we are very easy to find.

What size is the pool?
It is 11m long by 3.2m wide at its narrowest in the shallow end and 11m x 7.2m at its widest in the deep end. At its shallowest it is 1.2 m and at its deepest 2.1m; please be aware the pool floor is a graduating sloped floor and the depth varies as you swim into the deep end. Something to factor in if swimming with young children.

What is the maximum number of swimmers at one time?
We recommend eight swimmers max.

Can we bring inflatables and toys to play with in the pool?
Yes, of course. As long as you play safely and remember to take everything home with you!

How do I book?
Everything is done online; availability can be checked and all sessions can be booked, paid for, managed and cancelled through the Book Now page.

How long is a session?
Every private pool hire session is one hour including change and shower time. Please be considerate of other swimmers and keep to your allocated time slot.

Can I book more than one session?
You can book any number of ad hoc sessions via the Book Now page but if you want to book a regular swim session – weekly, fortnightly or monthly – it’s probably easier to email us and we can book it in for you.

Check availability first on the Book Now page – then email us at info@manorhousepool.com detailing the day and time of the session you want to book as well as the frequency.

We will then put it into the system from our end and you will receive a confirmation email, followed by a payment link when payment is due.

All regular bookings are paid for a month in advance – you will receive a payment link normally in the last week of the month for the following month.

Can I cancel my session?
Bookings can be cancelled by guests or the Manor House Pool for any reason up to 24 hours in advance and a full refund will be given by clicking the Cancel link in your confirmation email.

Please note normally refunds will take between 5-10 working days.

What happens if I need to change or amend an existing booking?
We can do all of that from our side of the booking system, just email us at info@manorhousepool.com and let us know the details of the original booking and when you would like to move it to.

We can then check availability and amend it for you, or come back to you with an alternative session.

Is there car parking?
Yes, a maximum of two cars per swim session. As you come in the drive bear round to the right and you will see a sign for swimming pool parking.

How do we gain access to the swimming pool?
When you arrive, park your car as indicated and walk through the arch with the black iron gate in front of you.

Use the slate signs as guidance, and follow the path around to the left to lead you to the swimming pool entrance.

The door will be unlocked, but please wait outside until your allocated timeslot.
